Good Morning Friends,
This past weekend a single daffodil blossomed in my yard. Spring has finally arrived in the frozen reaches of Northern Vermont. A sign that the harsh winter that seemed so long and so cold has finally loosened its grip.
A sign that warmer days are close at hand. A bright flash of color in a surrounding yard pushing hard to turn green. Spring - a time of refreshing, a time of renewal, a time of hope...
A single daffodil can change our demeanor, it can brighten our outlook, it can bring a smile to a face that has been longing to cast way a frown. But most of all, a single daffodil brings a promise of others to follow soon to be joined by a rainbow of other colors and joy.
As you go about your daily tasks today, remember that you may very well be that single daffodil in the life of the person you touch. You will bring them hope and a promise of joy. You will introduce them to that rainbow of colors to follow and a peek at better things to come. You will be their spring.
I am thankful for the tremendous difference you all make in the lives of so many. You are a breath of freshness and a bouquet of love and caring.
I pray for warmth in your lives, peace in your families and love in your hearts.
Blessings,
Dave
