Dear Friends,
All of New England is ablaze with the magnificent colors of Fall. We are blinded by the beauty of a multitude of oranges, yellows and reds in unlimited shades of glory.
God is masterful in the way that he prepares us for change. The thought of a shocking transition from Summer to Winter is much too much for us Vermonters to even fathom. But fear not, for we rest in the promise that with change comes beauty. He eases us into every season with a promise that what He has in store for us is more magnificent than anything we could dream of ourselves.
As you look to the future seasons of MHI, be encouraged that God already has a plan. We must be in prayer for His direction, guidance and comfort. He will be there for us. We simply must allow for His will to be done!
Much easier said than done, I know. Everyday we challenge ourselves and the job that we do. Am I the right person for this job? Am I doing a good job? Do I have what it takes? I guess I don't have to remind you who it is that places that doubt in your mind. Not God.
God wants you to be successful. You have been called by His voice to the tasks that you will face today and tomorrow. He has prepared you, He has guided you, He has built you up and He will be there with you every step of the way. That is HIS promise. "Trust in the Lord forever, the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal." Isa 26:4
I once heard it said; "That if God is your co-pilot, you are in the wrong seat." Move over, let Him drive.
I pray for the health and joy of your families. I pray for continued good fortune in all that you do. I pray that God will comfort you today and the days to follow. And, I pray that you hear the voice of God in times of indecision and that you are comforted by his gentle voice and soft, guiding touch. He Loves You!
